The Foundation's mission is to manage the funds entrusted to it in a lawful manner and to make available charitable funding in perpetuity for qualified beneficiaries with a primary focus on children's charities.

Q: How do I get involved in helping the Foundation to grow?

A: The Foundation currently has almost 100% of its PWR Club members as contributing members to the Foundation. Getting involved is easy...just become a sustaining member by making a contribution of any amount. Most members contribute a minumum of $100 per year with the goal of becoming a Point West Rotary Foundation Fellow, reached when contributions total $1,000 in aggregate. And the club helps you in the process by matching your donation up to $50 per year! Therefore you can reach your first PWRF Fellow within 7 years instead of 10.

Q. Do I have to be a member of Point West Rotary to make a contribution to the Foundation?

A. NO—we’ll take anyone’s money or stock.

Q. Is my contribution to PWRF tax deductible?

A. PWRF is a 501c3 organization, and as such, donations to the Point West Rotary Foundation should be tax deductible; however, you should always consult your tax advisor on such matters.
